Ive made a lot of new friends this month and remembered lost ones. There has been a lot of discussion around change. The fear of it, the time and effort required to achieve it. Im asked frequently what tools I use to adapt and where do i find the energy, motivation and confidence to constantly change.
As far as i know you only get one take at this life. We all have this perception of realistic expectations which keeps us doing less than what our full capacity would grant us.
Im not sure where this comes from but in my experience its systemic. Its part of our upbringing, our environment, our education system etc. Its a universal governer that mediates or worse inhibits your beliefs of what is possible.
My take is to expect more from yourself, work harder than you think possible for your dreams and say yes to everything you align with and every opportunity that comes your way.
If you’re relentlessly consistent and willing to do what it takes. It will all happen. Because nothing changes if nothing changes.
Take accountability for who and where you are and then take action towards who you want to be. No excuses, no blaming and no BS.
Be everything you expect from others.
Kind, caring and open minded.
It’s hard not to be malleable and adaptive when you’re constantly challenging yourself to be better. Change becomes an expectation not a fear. Hard things become easier……to the point where you go looking for harder things to challenge yourself.
Change is inevitable. You either put in the work, adapt and thrive or play the victim, make excuses and perish ie (remain the same).
Change your thoughts and actions and see what happens. What have you got to lose?
I can’t wait to see where you soar from here.
November is here tribe.
