Mahi Health Club Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Mahi Health Club! At Mahi, we want to maintain a consistent culture and community at the Club. We are committed to creating a supportive and welcoming environment for all members. Whether you're here to improve your fitness, recover, or simply relax, our team is here to support your journey every step of the way. By becoming a member or using our facilities, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Term
Mahi Health Club offers membership on a Week-to-Week basis, with a minimum commitment of 12 weeks. Members must maintain their membership for at least 12 weeks before they are eligible to cancel under the Cancellation terms.
The Week-to-Week Membership is a rolling contract that automatically renews on a weekly basis. After the initial 12-week period, the membership remains active until terminated by either the member or Mahi Health Club in accordance with the Cancellation terms.
2. Payment

Membership Fees

Billing Cycle: Membership fees are billed on a weekly basis. Payments are due on the same day each week.

Membership fees are payable in advance by direct debit or credit card, as specified at the time of joining. Fees will be automatically deducted on the agreed day of the week.

Admin Fee
​

Memberships will incur an admin fee of $50, payable in advance to cover processing expenses.

Payment Failure
​

Reprocessing of Payment: If a scheduled payment fails due to a declined credit card transaction or insufficient funds, Mahi Health Club will automatically attempt to reprocess the payment. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that sufficient funds are available.

Late Fees and Charges: Mahi Health Club reserves the right to apply a late fee to cover administrative costs associated with failed payments.

Suspension of Membership: If the outstanding payment is not resolved promptly, access to club facilities may be suspended until all due payments are made in full.

Termination of Membership: If payment remains outstanding for an extended period, Mahi Health Club may terminate the membership and initiate recovery procedures for the outstanding balance.

Communication: Members will be notified of any missed payment via email or their member account portal.

Member Responsibility: Members must keep payment information up to date to avoid disruptions.
3. Termination

Cancellation Notice Period

Members may cancel their membership after the 12-week minimum term by providing 8 weeks’ written notice via email to info@mahihealthclub.com.

Membership will remain active, and payments will continue for 8 more weeks following the next scheduled billing date after receipt of the notice.

If you do not receive confirmation of your cancellation request, please contact reception to ensure the process begins.

Cancellation for Medical Reasons

If a member needs to cancel due to medical reasons, they must provide a valid medical certificate. Cancellation will be processed from the next billing cycle once the certificate is received and confirmed.

Changes to Membership Fees

Mahi Health Club may adjust membership fees with a minimum of 7 days' notice.

Termination by Mahi Health Club

Mahi Health Club reserves the right to terminate any membership at its discretion, including but not limited to breaches of conduct, non-payment, or misalignment with club ethos.
4. Membership Pauses

Members may pause their membership up to three (3) times per year, with a combined maximum pause duration of six (6) weeks.

A minimum of 1 week’s notice is required before a pause begins.

Pause Fee: A non-refundable fee of $20 applies to each pause request.

Membership automatically resumes after the pause period.

Pause requests cannot be used to bypass the 12-week minimum commitment or cancellation policy.
5. Behaviour, Use, and Attire

Members must conduct themselves respectfully.

Gym equipment must be used properly and wiped down after use.

Members must wear appropriate gym attire, including closed-toe shoes.

Towels are required in the gym and recovery areas.

Unauthorised commercial use of the facility is prohibited.
6. Refusal of Entry

Mahi Health Club reserves the right to refuse entry for reasons including:

Non-compliance with club policies.

Inappropriate attire.

Intoxication or drug use.
-
Disruptive or aggressive behaviour.

Poor hygiene.

7. Property
​

Members are responsible for their belongings.

Mahi Health Club is not liable for lost or stolen items.

Members must cover the cost of any damages caused to club property.
8. Injury Waiver

Members acknowledge and accept the risks associated with exercise and release Mahi Health Club from liability.

A waiver form must be signed before using the facilities.
9. Age Restrictions and Pets
​

Mahi Health Club is for members aged 16 and older.
-
Children aged 11-15 may receive private coaching in Studio 2 with approval.
-
No pets allowed, except certified service animals with proper documentation.​
